Woman contracted RAO by excessive gaming on phone

A Chinese female who spent the entire day clinching her cell phone, playing a game has gone somewhat visually impaired. She was exceptionally attached to playing a popular cell phone multiplayer game ‘King of Glory’.

It comes to the notice that the woman named Wu Xiaojing, age 21, was playing the game for a few hours. This caused the loss of sight of her right eye. Later on, the young lady was taken to a doctor’s facility and therefore was determined to have an infection called Retinal Artery Occlusion (RAO) in her right eye.

What is RAO?

RAO happens when there is a blockage in one of the arteries that take blood to the retina. RAO is a typical sickness in older folks and it can bring about everlasting loss of vision.

Wu Xiaojing conceded that she is a hardcore enthusiast of the game, King of Glory, and played the game for ceaselessly eight hours without eating, drinking or any routine work that day.
