Xbox brings Doom controller and console cover

For the release of Doom: The Dark Ages, Microsoft publishes a series of limited Xbox accessories. In addition to a blood-sprayed standard controller, there is also an Elite Series 2 variant and a console cover in doom design.

Microsoft has presented a new collection of limited Xbox accessories in the design of the Shooter Doom: The Dark Ages. The collection includes a standard xbox controller, an Elite Series 2 variant and a console wrap for the Xbox Series X-all in the striking style of the shoot that appears on May 13th.

In the standard controller, the basic colors remind green and gray of the armor of the Doom Slayer, while red color accents and a blood splash give the controller an authentic look for the shooter. The buttons on the right side were provided with letters from the Sentinel Alphabet, and the red sign of the slayer is emblazoned on the right handle. The controller is available for 79.99 euros and also contains the exclusive “Doom Slayer Executioner Skin” as a DLC for the game.

For more demanding players, the Microsoft Store exclusively offers the Elite Series 2-controller in Doom design, but this is not a bargain. As you can read and see in the Microsoft Store, this elite version impresses with a striking red design with a transparent housing that gives insights into the interior of the premium controller. With a price of 199.99 euros, it offers all known elite functions such as customizable keyboard profiles, interchangeable thumbsticks, back paddles and trigger locks for faster response times.

Console cover transforms the Xbox

The Xbox-Series-X cover completes the collection and transforms the console into a demonic stone nipelisk. The textile fabric shows the striking sign of the slayer on the front, while the rest is decorated with runes and symbols.

With a price of $ 54.99 (around 49 euros), the wrap can be attached to the console thanks to Velcro fastener without tools or adhesives and is compatible with both the disc and digital version of the Xbox Series X. While the standard controller is already available in the Microsoft Store and from April 18, also from other dealers such as Amazon, Best Buy and Gamestop, fans have to wait for the elite controller by April 25th.

However, pre -orders are already possible for all articles. Doom: The Dark Ages itself will be released on May 15th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC – but depending on the edition, the game can also be played from May 13th.
