Xiaomi Double Foldable Smartphone Video Released

A video of Xiaomi double foldable smartphone was shared on Weibo by the Xiaomi co-founder and President Bin Lin. At the Chinese social media platform, the video was released. It revealed the foldable tablet prototype of the phone. Amazingly it shows the phone bending on both sides of the screen.

Lin said, “Here comes the Xiaomi double folding phone! This symmetrically dual-outer-folding form factor perfectly merges the experience of a tablet and a phone, it’s both practical and beautiful.”

Lin is holding a square device in his hand in the video. As he fold the screen of the tablet from both sides, it changes in to a smartphones.

Then Lin ask the Weibo users to suggest what should Xiaomi call this new device, stating, “I thought of two: Xiaomi Dual Flex, Xiaomi MIX Flex. We welcome suggestions!” 

Xiaomi has not responded to request of further comment on it.

Evan Blass, earlier also revealed a video of a foldable Android tablet. Now, this video by Xiaomi looks much similar to the video shared by Bin.

It is expected that different smartphones companies will launch foldable smartphones in 2019 including Samsung, Royole, Huawei, and Lenovo.
