The Xiaomi MiGu can read your thoughts thanks to three points located on it that are capable of receiving electrical signals and performing an EEG (Electroencephalography) of your brain.

Xiaomi is not just one of the largest mobile manufacturers in the world but it is also one of the brands that more innovative products brought to market and good proof of this can be found in the Cyberdog, a robotic dog that will be available very soon, and in the Xiaomi Mijia Glasses Camera, revolutionary glasses with a camera, screen, and real-time translator that the Chinese firm introduced just a couple of days ago.

What they confirm to us from the Chinese media IT Home the Beijing-based Chinese firm has just announced the Xiaomi MiGu, a headband with which you can control all the smart devices in your home and monitor fatigue while driving thanks to the use of brain waves.

To achieve all this, the Xiaomi MiGu, a device that is part of the project that won the first prize in the third Xiaomi Group online hackathon is equipped with three points that can get electrical signals and using the potential differences between these points can perform an EEG or Electroencephalography a test that measures the electrical activity of your brain. Each person produces different brainwave shapes depending on your mood and this Xiaomi headband uses artificially tagged machine learning to map and correlate these different waveforms.

Thus, after training this AI it will be possible to match each type of brain wave with a specific action such as, for example, turning on a smart lamp. The Xiaomi gadget that is going to be essential in summer: it has a battery for 18 hours and costs less than €20 Unfortunately, it is still not clear if this new gadget will be marketed or not, as this device has no release date.
