Xiaomi will introduce several new features to its upcoming Xiaomi 14 series
The Chinese tech company Xiaomi is working on the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series. With time, we are getting more and more details about the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series. According to the available information, the overall appearance of the smartphone is the same. However, it does include a few upgrades. Previously, the tipster digital chat Station unveiled that the smartphone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Improved Storage
The upcoming generation of smartphones by Xiaomi will bring in a 1TB storage option. Previously, the company introduced the Xiaomi 13 with 512Gb storage. In addition to this, some reports from the past indicate that the vanilla edition of Xiaomi 14 will feature a 4,860mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. It is an upgrade from the previous offering i.e., a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Xiaomi 14 will feature four camera sensors instead of three
The images showcase that the smartphone will include a familiar design. It will include a square-shaped camera island located in the upper left corner of the back. However, the camera island will include four sensors in contrast to three. The tipster claims that the primary camera will feature a large sensor i.e., 50MP 1/1.28”. Previously, the company introduced a main camera with 50MP 1/1.49 sensor.
Notably, the second one will be a “medium-telephoto” camera. it might feature a standard lens just like its ancestor. However, it might feature improved optical magnification (3.2x) than the Xiaomi 13 model. The third sensor will be the ultrawide camera. Currently, there are no details about the fourth sensor.
The tech company Xiaomi usually launches its flagship series by the end of the year. It does so to align with the first accessibility of the next Snapdragon 8 chip. The upcoming Xiaomi 14 series will include a Pro model. However, there is no information about an Ultra model.
