Among such issues, one of the most commonly reported issues by YouTubers is comment and chat spam. Any YouTuber with a big or small following and their audience report this issue. Though, YouTube has made some efforts in the past to resolve this issue. But, still, spam is a big problem. As of today, the platform has reported in a community post about the present situation and future tolls that will optimistically counteract the issue.

One of the most important things to note here is that YouTube has been working on an automated detection system. These systems are well-designed for identifying and removing spam. Given the first half of 2022, around a billion spam comments were removed based on this system. With time the automated detection system is improving the efficiency of its work. In addition to this, the company has improved bot detection in chats. Thus, helping with a better user experience.

Now, the users that continue to break community guidelines will be given a notice when their comments are deleted. While if the user continues breaking the community guidelines he will be barred from posting temporarily. This temporary suspension will last for 24 hours. As of now, the feature will be available for English comments. We can hope for its expansion in the near future.

Furthermore, YouTube has also introduced time estimates for videos processed on the platform. In a Tweet, the company announced that creators will be provided with a time estimate that will indicate the time required for completing the processing of the video once it is uploaded. Creators will be shown the time requirements for a standard definition, high definition, and 4K video. Well, this feature is quite welcoming for the creators.
