Apple Plans To Release The MacBook Air And Pro By The Second Half
Apple has recently canceled the upcoming conference to launch its budget iPhone 9 or AKA iPhone SE2, the company was planning earlier to shift the production line from China to other countries but finally decided to cancel the launch of the device and postpone it further because of problems in supply line which was affected due to Coronavirus.
However, the launch of the new Apple MacBook Air and Pro models is planned for the second quarter of this year. In addition to new Intel processors, the improved keyboards with scissor switches and a new 14-inch retina display should be the focus.
The most well-informed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo announced in his recently published “Research Note” (via MacRumors ) that he is expecting the launch of new macOS laptops from the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro series in the second quarter of 2020. In terms of the innovations, Kuo primarily referred to the keyboards with improved scissor switches, which are already used in the 16-inch model of the MacBook Pro. It would be a logical step if the American manufacturer also offers this keyboard technology for its more compact and cheaper notebooks.
New Plans Mini LED Display
Already in the last week, Ming-Chi Kuo talked about the future of the MacBook, iMac and iPad portfolio. Accordingly, one could already expect the first products this year that are equipped with modern mini LED displays. The analyst also assumes that Apple will discontinue its 13.3-inch MacBook Pro and use a slightly larger 14.1-inch screen with the appropriate retina resolution. The company took a similar step when changing from 15-inch to 16-inch format. Due to the narrow display frame, the overall size of the notebooks has hardly changed.

It is still unclear when and where Apple will present upcoming products. Due to the continued circulating coronavirus (COVID-19) scheduled for March spring Keynote to turn allegedly. The World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC), which is usually held in San José, USA, is also at risk in early June. Should the current entry ban to the USA, which also applies to all EU countries, is extended, the move to a live stream or even an announcement by press release would be conceivable.
