A New Group Call Button for WhatsApp iOS Users

new group call button

WhatsApp for iOS would soon be getting a new group call button.

It is a known detail that WhatsApp has launched its first official beta program. It would soon be available for all the users who have got the AppStore version.

The social messaging platform has been testing the new features since like many days. Lately, it surfaced that WhatsApp for iOS is testing some significant features for bringing change to the group chats or calls.

To begin a group call with more than one person is a tedious task. For doing so the number of the first friend is to be dialled first and then more people are added later. Thus, the entire procedure is rather patience-testing. But it appears that WhatsApp has made it easy for people to manage group sessions.

The recent update would allow users to see a new Group Call button in their group chats. When the button is clicked on, it would be giving one with a list of all possible participants one could initiate a call with.

Then up to like three people could be chosen for making a group call without the need of going through the hefty process.

As per the statement of WABetaInfo, in the older versions of the application, one could initiate a group call right after a normal call, which was at times super irritating and needed one to start a normal call and later after the response of the call receiver, one needed to add more contacts to the call. Much thanks to the new amendment, one could now directly start a real group call very easily while having the option of choosing between voice or video mode.

The feature has rolled out for WhatsApp for iOS on the beta version. It is anticipated that the feature would be launched for the Android users too. All the app users are expected to get the update on this new group call feature in the coming days.
