A recent report suggests that Apple will debut the MR headset in June

The Cupertino-based tech firm is all set to unveil its MR (mixed reality) headset soon. Just last week the device was displayed to the top 100 Apple executives. As per the information from Mark Gurman, the event was held at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. According to this recent report, the company will unveil the product at WWDC 23. The device could be introduced as Apple Reality Pro or Apple Reality One. Well, whatever it may be it is going to be a significant launch for a long time.

Gurman indicates that over the span of the previous few years, the company has showcased the headset development to Apple execs. However, the latest preview was the final preview just before the grand release this June. It is expected to be offered with a steep $3,000 price tag.

Furthermore, some details have also been shared by The New York Times. The details were sourced from an unknown Apple executive who attended the preview event in Cupertino. Well, the design of the headset is similar to ski goggles. It has a carbon fiber frame and a hip pack that houses its external battery. The battery can last for some hours. It appears that the headset design won’t fit individuals who wear glasses. However, the company is intending to offer custom prescription lenses for the displays.

In addition to this, the latest report indicates that the headset will offer dual 4K displays on the inside as well as a “Reality Dial.” Such features enable users to control videos of their surrounding in real time. The device is best for some users like artists. Since it has the capacity to track head and hand movement for use with drawing and design apps. Moreover, another key aspect of this device is the video conferencing mode accompanied by an exclusive “Copresence” app. It permits users to spend time together in Virtual Reality.
