The information comes from a research note Pu wrote this week with Hong Kong-based investment firm Haitong International Securities. The note focused on Apple supplier Largan Precision. No further details were shared by Pu regarding the lens. He didn’t mention how it would work with the Vision Pro.
When it comes to the iPhone 15 Pro models, the smartphones feature a 48MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto lens. These devices can capture spatial video with 3D depth for the Vision Pro to playback, starting with iOS 17.2. The main and ultra-wide lenses work together to record spatial video with more depth when held in a landscape position.
