All About the 2025 MLS Season Pass on Apple TV

Soccer fans, gear up! Starting this Wednesday, fans in over 100 countries can sign up for Apple’s MLS Season Pass to catch every moment of the 2025 Major League Soccer season. This year is special—2025 marks MLS’s 30th anniversary, and Apple TV is going all out to make it unforgettable.

Celebrating 30 Years of MLS

The 2025 season is packed with excitement, including the debut of San Diego FC, MLS’s 30th team. It also marks the third year of Apple’s 10-year partnership with MLS.

Apple TV will broadcast select preseason matches to get things rolling. Fans can look forward to matches like:

• February 11: LAFC vs. reigning Liga MX Apertura 2024 champion Club America
• February 14: Inter Miami’s preseason match against Orlando City SC

The regular season officially kicks off with MLS is Back Weekend on February 22 and 23. The opener? MLS MVP Lionel Messi and Inter Miami CF hosting New York City FC on February 22 at 2:30 PM ET. These opening matches will be streamed free for all Apple TV+ subscribers.

Introducing Sunday Night Soccer

New for the 30th anniversary, Sunday Night Soccer is here! Every Sunday evening, MLS Season Pass will broadcast a featured game of the week, complete with enhanced production, pre- and postgame shows, and custom graphics in both English and Spanish.

Even better, all Sunday Night Soccer matches will be free to stream for Apple TV+ subscribers. The first matchup? Watch San Diego FC make their debut against reigning MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy on February 23 at 7:00 PM ET.

Special Offers for MLS Season Pass

This season, soccer fans have access to some exciting offers:

• T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile Customers: T-Mobile is giving eligible customers a free MLS Season Pass. Claim the offer through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app starting February 18.
• Comcast & Xfinity Customers: Xfinity users can stream all live matches directly within their interface and get free access to “MLS 360,” the whip-around studio show. Free previews of MLS Season Pass will run from February 22 to March 2. After that, you can sign up directly through Xfinity.
• DirecTV Customers: DirecTV residential customers can subscribe to MLS Season Pass directly through the satellite guide on channels 480–495. Free previews will be available from February 22 to March 1.

• Documentary Premiere: On February 21, Apple TV+ will debut the eight-part documentary series, Onside: Major League Soccer, showcasing players, coaches, clubs, and unforgettable moments from the 2024 season.

MLS Season Pass Pricing

Fans can subscribe to the MLS Season Pass for $14.99 per month or $99 for the full season. Apple TV+ subscribers get a discounted rate of $12.99 per month or $79 for the season.

The pass is shareable through Apple’s Family Sharing, meaning up to six family members can enjoy it with their own Apple IDs.
