AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs Support Via an Update

Today is the release day for the new AMD Ryzen 7000 processors. Therefore, there are also important driver updates. With the new Adrenalin Edition driver in version 22.9.2, AMD is now starting support for the latest CPU family and for the game Grounded.

According to Neowin, the update brings a mix of new features and updates to existing settings, but the most important is support for Ryzen 7000. AMD just announced that the first versions of the new processors are shipping. Ryzen 7 7600X, Ryzen 7 7700X, Ryzen 9 7900X, and Ryzen 9 7950X are now available.

Only a Few changes

If you want to use the brand new AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs with Radeon graphics, you should update to the new driver quickly.   • Radeon™ Super Resolution may not fire after changing resolution or HDR settings in games like Nioh 2.
  • The Oculus Dashboard menu and rendered controllers may stutter/jitter on Oculus Quest 2 with some AMD graphics products such as the Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics.
  • GPU utilization can get stuck at 100% in Radeon performance metrics after quitting games on some AMD graphics products like the Radeon 570.
  • When previewing the timeline in Vegas Pro, some colors may appear inverted.
  • For some AMD graphics products, such as B. the Radeon RX 6700 XT, the display may be momentarily corrupted when switching between video and game windows.
  • When Vertical Refresh Sync is set to Always Off globally, video playback with Radeon RX 6000 Series GPUs may experience system stutters or driver timeouts.
  • Video dropouts may occur when playing video with hardware acceleration in browsers on Radeon™ RX 6000 GPUs.
  • Important instructions
  • AMD software capture and stream capabilities, as well as overlay support for clone mode and Eyefinity display configurations, will be introduced at a later date.
  • OpenGL applications that support 10-bit format are no longer supported with HDR display capabilities. Enabling 10-bit pixel format in the advanced graphics settings is only recommended for use with 10-bit capable OpenGL applications and is not required to enable 10-bit color display capabilities.
