Reportedly, the Apple Podcasts for Alexa are now available in 40 different regions, including Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye, the U.K., and the U.S.
Reportedly, the new regions were listed in the Apple support document that was recently updated. With this recent development, users can command Alexa to play podcasts from the native Apple Podcasts app. To maintain playback synchronization between your Apple devices and compatible Alexa devices, you may connect your Apple ID to the Alexa app. For instance, you can ask Alexa to resume a podcast you’re listening to on your Echo speaker at home after beginning it on the Apple Podcasts app on CarPlay during your drive.
