Apple to Launch Budget iPads Later This Year

After a few months of the launch of Apple’s iPad Pro 2020, the company is already planning on refreshing its model lineup for the upcoming iPad series. As per the latest, Apple intends to introduce 2 new iPad variants which are a 10.8 inch iPad that is to launch later this year and an 8.5 inch iPad mini which would be launched at the start of the next year.
The news has come from a trustworthy Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The upcoming 10.8-inch model will either be replacing the current 10.2-inch model or the 8.5 inch iPad mini which would be launched as iPad mini 6 and the 10.5 inch iPad Air.

It is anticipated that both the new models would come with a form factor that is similar to the 2020 iPad Pro. Since, with the surged screen size, even if the mainframe remains the same, the models would definitely give the impression of smaller bezels. However, Apple would probably be skipping the 120Hz display.
The analyst has also provided details that both the new models would be shipping the new 20W power adapter of Apple, the details of which were leaked recently.
Earlier, it was reported that the company is working on introducing 6 iPhone 12 models this year. Two of these would offer 4G connectivity and would have a starting price as low as $549. As per the latest news, the firm would not be shipping smartphones with a charger.
