Apple’s iPhone 12 was the Best-selling Smartphone in Q1 of 2021

Apple’s iPhone has always been in the limelight. In fact, it’s not just a smartphone but a brand. And last year’s iPhone 12 had proved this when it became the world’s best-selling smartphone.

According to reports, the iPhone 12 5G was the world’s best-selling smartphone in Q1 of 2021, followed by the top-of-the-range iPhone 12 Pro Max. The former accounted for 5% of global shipments, while the latter held a market share of 4%.

It didn’t end here. The company’s iPhone 12 Pro also kept in the line and accounted for the third best-selling device, holding a 3% market share.

We had the iPhone 11 that managed to capture more than 2% of global shipments at number four. Unfortunately, iPhone 12 mini couldn’t do so well.

The rest of the top ten positions were held by Xiaomi and Samsung. According to PhoneArena, the fifth, sixth, and eighth positions were held by Xiaomi’s Redmi 9A, Redmi 9, and Redmi Note 9 respectively.

Samsung’s Galaxy A12 took the seventh position, while the Galaxy A21s and Galaxy A31 scored the ninth and tenth positions, respectively. Much of the demand for these Xiaomi and Samsung devices came from China, India, Pakistan, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
