ASUS will soon introduce the ROG Phone 7 series

ASUS will introduce the new ROG series sooner than anticipated. Last year, ASUS introduced the ROG Phone 6 series in July. This year, the company is expected to introduce a new series before that. According to the information of a tipster, the company will announce the ROG Phone 7 series on April 13. The company is going to introduce two new ASUS ROG Phone 7 models.

For the 2023 smartphones, the company has adopted a different naming strategy. Reportedly, the two new smartphones will be introduced under the names ASUS ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Where in 022, the company unveiled the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro.

The latest information comes from tipster Abhishek Yadav. He says that the two new smartphones will be rather similar. The smartphones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It appears like both will have the same camera setup i.e., a 50MP main camera provided with a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 13MP megapixel macro camera. Furthermore, a 32-megapixel camera will be provided on the front side of these two phones.

The devices will come pre-installed with Android 13 out of the box. It is reported that both devices weigh around 239 grams. Besides this, the two devices will have the same dimensions as well as display sizes. The smartphones will measure 173 x 77 x 10.3mm and don’t appear to be small. They will accompany a large battery so they won’t be thin. Since the company introduced the ROG Phone 6 series with a 6,000mAh battery. The new smartphones could feature the same battery.

Additionally, the ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate model is expected to offer 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Whereas the ROG Phone 6 was offered with 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is expected that ASUS will accompany both devices with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. Besides this, it is quite possible that these are gaming phones.
