OnePlus V Fold could be thin and offer a better zoom camera

Some recent pieces of information suggest that another Chinese company is now going to introduce its first foldable smartphone in the second half of 2023. It is OnePlus.

The recent information comes from the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station. The tipster claims that OnePlus will introduce a high-end foldable phone in H2 of 2023. The company could introduce the device in the global market. The tipster says that the device accompanies a large display, a thin design, and a periscope camera. besides this, some reports even claim that this device will be a rebranded version with model number OPPO PHN110. It could be introduced as OnePlus V Fold worldwide.

Well, if we come to the specs of the smartphone the reports claim that it features a 120Hz LTPO OLED foldable screen. It could follow a similar hinge as the one presented with OPPO Find N2. Thus, suggesting that the crease would be less visible. Besides this, the smartphone could fold completely flat. In addition to this, the device is extremely thin just like Huawei Mate X3 and the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2.

Additionally, some rumors suggest that the new foldable smartphone could feature the OnePlus’ signature Alert Slider switch. It will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Some sources claim that the smartphone could feature a triple-camera setup on the back. It will include a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX890). An ultrawide camera and a telephoto camera with a periscope lens will accompany the main camera. furthermore, the foldable will be equipped with two selfie cameras i.e., 32MP and 20MP resolution. the smartphone will be powered by a 4,800mAh battery with OnePlus’ fast charging (65W+) technology.
