Dell launches Inspiron 7000 Series laptops at IFA 2018 event

IFA 2018 is a grand European consumer electronics showcase event which is scheduled to take place in Berlin, Germany from August 31 to September 5. All the European tech giants attend this event and showcase their upcoming products.

Dell has also announced to launch new Inspiron 7000 series laptops in this event. The US-based firm is launching its first-ever Chromebook under “Inspiron” tag, the company has also launched its 2-in-1 Inspiron 7000 series laptops that come in 13-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch models. The company will add premium features in this lineup as it does in XPS series.

Dell Inspiron 7000 Series features

One of the most noted features is the narrow bezel screens in this series, somewhat similar to Dell XPS 13 laptops. Dell will also add Dell Cinema software support in these laptops to enhance the visual experience, supporting Waves MaxxAudio Pro with CinemaSound Audio support.

The new Dell Inspiron 7000 laptops will also support Amazon’s Alexa assistant, the 7000 laptops are powered by Core i5-8265U or Core i7-8565U Intel processors with full-HD or 4K screens. You will get Intel HD graphics in 13-inch model, however; the other two models can also be configured with Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU with 2GB or 4GB dedicated memory.

Dell Inspiron 5000

Dell has also launched Inspiron 5000 2-in-1 laptop which is a 14-inch model, the model comes with Intel Core i5 or i7 8th generation processors just like 7000 series, along with Core i3 variant. However, the screen resolution options in this series, is limited, either 1366X768 or Full-HD+. These laptops can also be configured with Nvidia GeForce MX130 along with dedicated 2GB GDDR5 memory.
