Elon Musk Replies Press News With a Pile Of Shit Emoji

It’s no longer a secret that Elon Musk doesn’t believe in traditional press and also despises most of the media. He closed Tesla’s press office years ago. He is now doing something similar on Twitter and even going one step further.

Elon Musk is already 51 years old, is considered the wealthiest person on the planet, and has successfully built several companies, but sometimes one has to wonder how he did it because of his chronic infantility. It has been known for a long time that he doesn’t believe in traditional press, and journalists have long since accepted that.

Musk closed the PR and press office at Tesla in 2020. Anyone who has a corresponding request to the car manufacturer can no longer do this officially, but can at best hope to find Musk or another manager on Twitter or a similar social media reach channel.

On Twitter, he goes one step further: Anyone who writes a message to the official press e-mail address these days will receive an automated reply. That in itself is nothing unusual because in large companies it is quite possible that you will be asked to be patient because the employees there are busy.

Emoji as an answer

Twitter goes one step further because its media representatives are immediately and automatically informed of what they think of them. As Elon Musk announced on Twitter, all emails sent to press@twitter.com will be answered with a poop emoji.

Until Musk took over Twitter, journalists could be quite sure that they would get a statement or help in this way, but since last autumn press representatives have no longer received an answer – probably also because the press office was eliminated.

Musk himself is notorious for being particularly hostile toward journalists. Not only does he repeatedly complain about renowned media, but he has also had critics blocked. Last December, he banned several journalists from Twitter who had reported on the @ElonJet account being suspended.
