Facebook to Launch its own Web Hosting Service

Facebook is planning on launching its own web hosting service, opposing the likes of GoDaddy and Wix. Over the past few years, Facebook has multiplied the investment in its suite of business tools.

According to the reports, Details regarding Facebook’s new project are unusual. But, the news was officially announced in a recent blog post by Facebook. The social media giant believes that this new project will interest small and medium-sized firms looking for a cost-friendly and reliable service.

According to the blog post, Businesses have varying technology needs and want choice in the companies they work with to host and manage customer communications, particularly with remote work increasing.

Moreover, the blog explained that the company plans to expand its partnerships with business solution providers they have already worked with over the last 2 years. Facebook will also provide a new option for businesses to manage their WhatsApp messages through the hosting services including the best web hosting that Facebook plans to offer.

With WhatsApp, Facebook has been working on increasing its demand for business customers. This new service will open new grounds for the company. Apart from making the hosting service available in a few months, the company also plans on introducing ways to make purchases directly through WhatsApp chats, with compatibility with the existing e-commerce to make things easier for traders.
