From 2024, OnePlus will only use Snapdragon SoCs

OnePlus might begin using Snapdragon SoCs only from next year

It appears that the company will no longer use MediaTek processors. Rather, it is shifting its focus towards Snapdragon SoCs. Well, this is not such a big deal since Qualcomm is a big name in the tech industry. Let us have a look at some of the OnePlus’s upcoming smartphones.

Some previous information suggests that the OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. On the other hand, the OnePlus 12R will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Whereas the Nord 4 or 5 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. When it comes to MediaTek processors, not many smartphones from the company utilize them. However, there are a few exceptions, like the OnePlus Nord 3, Ace 2V, and OnePlus Pad, which are some good examples to quote.
