Galaxy S23 FE will arrive in both Snapdragon and Exynos variants

It is expected that the South Korean tech firm will debut the FE edition of the Galaxy S23 before the end of 2023. Previously, some rumors suggested that the smartphone could arrive in both Exynos and Snapdragon variants. It is now confirmed that the smartphone will come in both variants. Notably, one variant will feature the Exynos 2200, and the other will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

Reports suggest that the smartphone could arrive at some point in October. The two variants of the Galaxy S23 FE were spotted in the Google Play Console. The information shows that one variant has S5E9925 (Exynos) as the processor, whereas the other variant’s processor is listed as SM8450 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1). The snapdragon variant might debut in the US and Chinese markets. However, the Exynos variant is dedicated to the rest of the markets including Asia, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and Africa.

Leaked specs for the Galaxy S23 FE

In addition to this, the listing reveals some other details, like the design, colors, and default wallpaper of the Galaxy S23 FE. Both versions will feature 8 GB of RAM. It won’t be available in the 12GB RAM version. Previous leaks suggest that the Galaxy S23 FE will feature a 6.4-inch dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with Full HD+ resolution. It will have support for HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rates. The phone will feature an in-display fingerprint reader.

Notably, the smartphone is IP68 certified. Other connectivity features include stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. Furthermore, previous rumors suggest that the smartphone will feature a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with three times optical zoom. On the front, the smartphone will feature a 10MP camera. It will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
