Galaxy Watch 4 gets a huge update with watch faces and more

Samsung’s very first WearOS 3 watches, Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, have been a hit. They are equipped with great displays, decent fitness tracking, and tracking of workouts with decent battery life and a myriad of features. With a forthcoming software update, both smartwatches will be able to add more features.

It is expected that the South Korean firm will release an important update for Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic on February 10. The latest update will encourage users to reach the fitness targets they have set. After users have decided on their body composition goals, like weight or body fat as well as muscles in the skeleton, the smartwatches will send daily reminders as well as strategies to meet those goals.

Running and cycling enthusiasts can benefit from interval training. They can set their goals as well as the best interval between their workouts and even the time to recover. Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will additionally measure and display the percent of VO2 Max in real-time. This can help users determine how far they can push themselves. After a workout, the smartwatches will show water loss and give details on the amount of water you should drink to replenish the water.

With the latest update, Galaxy Watch 4 will continue to track a person’s heart rate for as long as 2 minutes after the workout so that users will know when they are able to return to their workout.

The brand new Sleep Coaching feature can help users improve their sleep quality by providing hours of sleep, quality data, and an overall sleep score. After monitoring for a month and analysis, the smartwatches will assign the Sleep Symbol animal to every user who best represents the way they sleep. The watches will also control SmartThings-connected TVs and lights to help users sleep better.

The software update coming soon will also introduce new watch faces, as well as the option of customizing existing models. Samsung is also expected to be releasing more straps that will match those new faces. Sport straps will be available for purchase in Burgundy, Cream, Grey, and purple. The fabric bands are sold in Black, Blue, Grey as well as Red versions. This Link Bracelet metal strap will be available in Dark Grey and Olive color versions.

Samsung’s new smartwatches also receive enhanced support for the left hand, ensuring that people can wear the watches on any wrist with any issue. When you first set up both the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will automatically install apps depending on what apps you have installed on your phone.
