Galaxy Watch 4 To Get Google Assistant And YouTube Music Soon

Google is expanding its long-standing relationship with Samsung to make Galaxy Watch 4 deeper into the Android ecosystem that includes new productivity, communication, and entertainment capabilities.

In the next few months, new Galaxy Watch 4 owners will be able to install and configure Google Play apps during the initial configuration process straight out of the box. Your most-loved apps on Your Android smartphone will be displayed as recommendations on the Watch 4. Watch 4, so you can install them in just one tap, without having to search for them in the Play Store.

A few days later, a new update will be released that will bring Google Assistant to the wearable with a brand new look that promises faster response time. Galaxy Watch 4 owners will be capable of downloading Google Assistant via Google Play and then quickly enable it, and start by saying “Hey Google.” According to Samsung, the new feature won’t replace the company’s existing Bixby speech assistant. It instead provides Galaxy Watch 4 wearers the possibility of selecting their preferred voice assistant.

Google and Samsung will also be able to let you free from the tethers on your phone with WiFi and LTE streaming capabilities to YouTube Music Premium subscribers. It’s already an option to upload music onto the Watch 4 for ad-free offline listening during your workout The new streaming capabilities will allow you to browse the entire catalog on the go. Google states that this feature will be also available on Wear OS2 devices but you’ll need at the very minimum Wi-Fi to avail of this feature.
