Moto G Pro Gets Android 12 Stable Update

On December 1, Motorola announced a selection of phones that could be receiving Android 12. Android 12 update. At the time, the company stated that the first updates would start being released in February. According to the announcement, Motorola has officially started with the Android 12 rollout, starting with the Moto G Pro (also known as Moto G Stylus in the US). Motorola has begun with the release of a stable Android 12 update to the Moto G Pro (variant XT2043-7).

The update comes with the version of software S0PR32.44-11-8. The update is currently only live in the UK however we anticipate that the company will expand the rollout to other regions in the near future. It’s a bit surprising to see that the Moto G Pro getting Android 12 ahead of flagship models like Motorola’s Edge X30.

In any event, in the case that you have a Moto G Pro and reside in the UK be sure to keep in mind that you will receive an OTA announcement in the coming days. To determine if the update is available go to Settings > System > Advanced System Updates, and manually check. In addition to other than the Moto G Pro model, Motorola is also working on the Android 12 plan for 29 other phones. These include models such as the Razr 5G, Motorola Edge 20 series, and Moto G200. 5G G71, Moto G60, Moto G Power (2022), and many more. To refresh the model Moto G Pro was released in May of 2020. It was equipped with Android 10 as a default, and then received an upgrade that upgraded it to Android 11. Moto Android 12 is likely to be the final OS update for the phone.
