Google Calendar will now let you define your work hours

You may now define when you’ll be working from home or in the office in Google Calendar, in addition to setting your working location for specific days of the week. The latest upgrade ought to make it simpler for your coworkers to locate you if you switch locations throughout the day.

When the feature is available, you can choose Create from the calendar’s home page and then click Working Locations to set your working location. You can then choose a date and define your whereabouts at various points in time.

For instance, you might choose to work from “Home” from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from “Office” from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. That way, when planning in-person meetings, your coworkers can accommodate your schedule.

The feature is still being rolled out, and my Workspace account has already spotted it. Only those who have one of the following Workspace subscription tiers are able to access it: Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education Fundamentals, Education Standard, Education Plus, the Teaching and Learning Upgrade, and Nonprofits are all available in Google Workspace.
