However, Google never confirmed the claim made by the administration and the website does not have a testing screener.
Google in a blog post said that the website google.com/covid19, is “focused on education, prevention, and local resources. People can find state-based information, safety and prevention tips, search trends related to COVID-19, and further resources for individuals, educators, and businesses.”
Earlier this week the plans of Google were delayed as it wanted to connect a screening tool developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It seems that the screening tool is as yet not ready and it is not clear when it will be completed.
