Apple will conduct a “Wonderlust” iPhone 15 event in the upcoming days.

He shared these details in his Power On newsletter. Mark Gurman claims that the Cupertino-based tech company will introduce a USB-C port option to all members of the AirPods series. According to him, the AirPods Pro will be the first model to debut with the modified charging case. Gurman previously stated that Apple will introduce new iPhone 15 models and updated AirPods with USB-C charging cases, all of which are anticipated to switch from Lightning to USB-C. However, it wasn’t immediately apparent if Gurman was talking about the standard AirPods or the AirPods Pro.

The company will include some modifications to the AirPods Pro, but these modifications will be software-based and will align with iOS 17. Furthermore, new hearing aid features might debut next year or so. In addition to this, Gurman claims that the price of the lower-end AirPods models might decrease given the adoption of USB-C charging cases. On the other hand, the prices of the upcoming iPhone 15, more specifically the Pro models, are expected to increase. Well, it is just a matter of a few more days, and things will be clarified.
