Huawei Band 6 starts sale on April 4th

Huawei Band 6 starts selling in Malaysia from April 4th. The device could be bought for just RM 219 ($53).

After a small gap since its last release in 2019, Huawei Band is back with another model, Huawei Band 6. The company has skipped one beat, i.e., Huawei Band 5, as the previous model was Huawei Band 4.

The device comes with a 1.47″ AMOLED display, with 194 x 368 pixels. The company will showcase a huge variety of watch faces on the Watch Face Store app. The new band will also feature very slim bezels and a 64% screen-to-body ratio.

The band weighs just 18 grams (without the strap) and has dimensions of 43×25.4×10.99mm. There’s a single-side button for navigation on the band. It’s rated for 5ATM water resistance.

According to the source, the Huawei Band 6 has a long battery life which goes for up to 2-weeks of regular usage or 10 days of heavy use. The device is charged via a magnetic charger. The company claimed that a 5minute charging could result in 2 days of operation.

Moreover, the device will feature continuous blood oxygen monitoring, TruSeen 4.0 heart rate monitoring, TruSleep 2.0 sleep monitoring, TruRelax 2.0 pressure monitoring, heart health monitoring, and screen for sleep apnea risks.

The band will also support 96 different sports modes.

Not to mention, the device will also offer the standard notification, call and message alerts from a connected smartphone, remote camera shutter, and music playback controls.

The band is available in three colours – Amber Sunrise, Forest Green, and Graphite Black. The device is compatible with smartphones running Android 6.0 or iOS 9.0 or later and supports Bluetooth 5.0. The official sale starts in Malaysia on April 4 for RM 219 (around $53).
