Huawei is a popular smartphone maker in the world. It has given tough time to big names like Samsung & Apple by incorporating latest tech & advanced features in its new phones.
Now recently Huawei launched Huawei Mate 10 Pro in China, India, and Pakistan. The phone was not released in the USA yet. Now Huawei didn’t get any deal with USA known carriers for Mate 10 Pro. Still the pre-order in the USA for the phone has started.
Now Huawei wants to attract the customers by asking people to write a fake positive review for the un-released Huawei Mate 10 pro phone. Most of the companies do promote the unique features of their upcoming devices & decide for beta testers for their phones, but Huawei has not limited itself to this.
The company posted on a Fb Group asking the members to leave positive reviews on Best Buy pre-sale page. In exchange, Huawei offered them the chance to beta test Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Mind you the group had 60k members.
After the company realized it was a mistake to post something like this, they deleted. Alas, the screenshot of the post was taken.
The post said, “Tell us how to “why” (sic) you WANT to own the Mate 10 Pro in the review section of our pre-sale Best Buy retail page.”
Now, this is hilarious. How can they ask people their opinion about the phone when it was in the pre-order stage currently.
People, well they got attracted to the offer & currently 100 good reviews have been written about an unreleased phone. For instance a person wrote, “This phone is best! I have an iPhone X, but I will switch to Huawei m10!”
Every smartphone maker or company try to introduce the best product in the market. Then they should trust their product. Device a fair & appropriate marketing strategy and then have faith. Bribing for reviews seems too desperate for a company like Huawei.
