Huawei is gearing up to introduce the new Nova 8 Pro 4G

Huawei is preparing to introduce a new Nova smartphone – the Nova 8 Pro 4G. Previously, the company introduced the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro in 5G variants. The former was priced at 3299 yuan ($508), whereas the latter at 3999 yuan ($616).

The new Nova smartphone will come in four colorways – Black, Blue, Green, and White. We don’t know when and for how much this phone would premiere.

According to several sources, the Nova 8 Pro 4G would come with the Kirin 985 chip, built on a 7nm process. It would have a 1+3+4 CPU architecture – 1xA76 2.58GHz large core, 3xA76 2.4GHz mid-size cores, and 4xA55 1.84Hz small cores. It integrates an octa-core Mali-G77 GPU.

Staying under the hood, the Huawei Nova 8 Pro adopts a large-area VC liquid cooling + 3D graphene heat dissipation film + high thermal conductivity metal triple-mix liquid cooling system; to ensure the gaming experience.

It would be powered by a 4,000mAh battery, a 66W super-fast charging support. The battery is developed by Huawei and uses fast charging technology. It’s said that this phone can charge to 60% in only 15 minutes and to 100% in 35 minutes.

On the display side, it would have a 6.72″ screen, a double-hole screen, supports 120Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch adoption rate.

We learned that this phone would feature front dual lenses – a 32MP ultra-wide-angle video lens and a 16MP lens – ideal for Vlogging. On the backside, there would be a 64MP main camera + 8MP super wide-angle + 2MP + 2MP lens combination, supporting super night scene, front, and rear dual scene video 2.0.
