Huawei Mate Xs: Price, Specifications and Release Date

Huawei is launching a new foldable phone after the launch of Huawei Mate X last year. Now Huawei is launching Huawei Mate Xs. In this article, we will tell our readers about the price, specifications and release date of the phone.

Huawei Mate Xs Release Date

It is confirmed that Huawei Mate Xs will launch in March 2020. As the Mobile World Conference has been canceled it is expected that Huawei will announce the launch of its new foldable phone at the virtual press conference in Barcelona, Spain on Feb 24 at 3 PM CEST.

 Price of Huawei Mate Xs

As of yet, not much is known about the price of Huawei Mate Xs but this much is clear that it will not be cheap. The first Mate X price in China was £1950 but there are reports that the screen of the phone is now easier to manufacture, thus we can hope for a slightly cheaper price from Mate X.

Expectations from Huawei Mate Xs

The storage of Huawei Mate X was 512GB. It is expected that XS will have the same storage. It is expected that Huawei Xs will have the support for expandable memory using nano memory of Huawei that can go up to 256GB.

Coming to the camera of the phone, a recent Huawei patent for a foldable phone had 4 cameras on the rear and 2 on the inside. This would be an upgrade to Huawei Mate X’s four total cameras. It is expected to use Kirin 990 an upgrade to Kirin 980.

As the original Mate X had 5G, it is expected that Mate Xs will most certainly have 5G support. It is believed that the screen size would be the same as that of the original Mate X. Also, it is rumored that the screen will be tougher than its predecessor which will allow it to resist more damage.
