Lenovo launched World’s First Dual Screen Laptop – Specs & Price

World’s first dual-screen laptop has been launched by Lenovo. The laptop Yoga Book C930 is priced at 999 euro or $1,164. The main features of the laptop include a dual screen with a digital keyboard, a screen that can be turned in to an e-reader, a Bluetooth pen that can be used to write on the screen.

This new dual-screen laptop will be available in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia in September.

The PC and laptop sales declined over the last couple of years but have seen progress recently that has been beneficial for Lenovo. According to the International Data Corporation (IDC) Lenovo PC shipments saw growth of over 11 percent year-on-year in 2018’s second quarter.

The revenue of the Lenovo PC increased by 19.8% year-on-year in the three months period ending on June 30th. New products from Lenovo like the Yoga Book has helped the company to gain momentum.

Lenovo revealed its products at IFA 2018 consumer electronics show in Berlin, Germany. Other than the Yoga Book C930, Lenovo unveiled ThinkPad X1 Extreme, and Yoga C630, the first laptop that is powered with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon ARM processor.

The display of Yoga Book C930 is 10.8 inches with 2,560×1,600 pixels LCD main screen resolution, 1,920×1,080 pixels with electronic ink secondary screen resolution, Intel Core m3 or Core i5 seventh-generation processor,4GB RAM, Up to 256GB storage, Windows 10 operating system and 8.6 hours battery.

The laptop has a thickness of 9.9mm which makes it quite thin. The weight of the laptop is 775 grams. It is equipped with two Dolby Atmos speakers, a fingerprint reader and it can be connected to 4G LTE networks.
