Meizu 20 series launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 50MP main camera, and Flyme OS 10

Meizu has made a comeback in the smartphone industry with the release of its Meizu 20 series. Notably, the Meizu 20 series consists of three smartphones. These are Meizu 20, Meizu 20 Pro, and Meizu 20 Infinity.

Meizu 20 is accompanied by a small 6.55 inches OLED screen. It offers full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Whereas Meizu 20 Pro features a 6.81 inches LPTO OLED screen. It displays a 1368 x 3192px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In comparison, Meizu 20 Infinity holds a 6.79-inch display. It has the same resolution and refresh rate as the one presented with the standard Pro model. However, one distinction is the slim borders i.e., 2.48mm on all sides. All three phones feature ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners.

All devices of the Meizu 20 series are accompanied by 32MP front-facing cameras. Meizu 20 boasts a 50MP main camera (Samsung GN5 sensor), a 16MP ultrawide module, and a 5MP auxiliary camera. Meizu 20 Pro features three 50MP sensors on the back beside the wide, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses. Whereas the Meizu 20 Infinity displays a 50MP main sensor, and 12MP ultrawide and telephoto sensors.

Other features of the Meizu 20 series

All three phones of the Meizu 20 series are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. All three models feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. One of the most interesting features of the Meizu 20 series is the new design language i.e., Flyme 10 OS.

Battery power and charging capacity of Meizu 20 series

Meizu 20 is provided with a 4,700 mAh battery. It comes with 67W fast charging. In contrast, Meizu 20 Infinity features a 4,800 mAh cell. It has support for 65W wireless charging and 50W wireless. On the other hand, Meizu 20 Pro features a larger 5,000 mAh cell that has the support for 80W wired and 50W wireless.

Color options

Meizu 20 is available in four different colors i.e., green, yellow, pink, and black colors. Meizu 20 Pro is offered in three different colors i.e., black, gold, and silver colors. Whereas Meizu 20 Infinity comes in green, silver, and black colors. The series will be available for open sales in China from April 3.
