Microsoft Announces The Cheaper Version of The Xbox Mini Fridge

Microsoft launched a mini-fridge in the design of the Xbox Series X last year. Now the Redmond-based company has introduced another version of the device. The new edition of the Xbox Mini Fridge is a bit more compact and cheaper than the original.

That’s what Aaron Greenberg, Microsoft’s vice president of Xbox games marketing, has in one tweet approved. The team responsible for the product is said to have received numerous requests from users who want a smaller version of the mini-fridge.

This idea has now been implemented. The new model is 36.5 centimeters high, 18.5 centimeters wide, and just as deep. In addition to the integrated cooling, a USB port is installed.

Refrigerator with space for eight cans

In the “Mini-Me Xbox Series X Mini Fridge” edition, there should only be room for eight cans. Furthermore, the noise of the refrigerator has been reduced. While it’s priced at $79 in the United States, it’s unclear how expensive the device will be over here.

The new variant is to be offered worldwide. In addition to the new edition, the original version will continue to be available. It also remains to be seen when Microsoft will begin delivery. Twelve cans can be stored in the original edition.

The device, on the other hand, costs a little more at $99 and was sold out immediately after the release. Retailers have ordered numerous copies of the mini fridge in order to be able to offer the Xbox Mini Fridge at a multiple of the normal price.
