Microsoft Is Rolling Out Collaborative Whiteboard App For Windows 10
The rollout occurs with Microsoft’s Surface Pro also focusing on competitive whiteboard market.
Microsoft has announced yesterday that it is soon rolling out inking whiteboard app to Windows 10, private preview will be available to surface hub. The app will be available on Windows 10 devices including Surface Studio and Surface Pro.
The app offers much of functionality such as; geometry recognition, table conversions, automatic shading to tables plus many exclusive functions for office 365 subscribers. Whiteboard app is really handy for teams working on a single task, the collaborative functionality would allow the teams to make presentations, share ideas, edit presentation and much more, it is quite useful for teams working at distance normally happens in IT industry.
Whiteboard market is already quite competitive; Google also started selling its Jamboard to enterprises at $5,000. Jamboard lets people to create free drawing, sketching, handwriting, photos and other functionalities.
Microsoft also unveiled new improvements to the inking technology, surface pen would be able to adjust according to the pressure, angle and pressure of the pen enables inking to adjust at the point which provides smooth drawing to the users.
Further, word, excel and PowerPoint users will be able to choose various ink effects like; gold, silver, rainbow, lava and galaxy. The gallery of different pens, pencils and highlighters are also added in the new office apps.
