OnePlus introduces the OnePlus Pad: the first tablet by the company

OnePlus came forward with a bunch of products at the February 7 event of the company. Interestingly, the company has introduced some products for the first time ever like the OnePlus Featuring Keyboard 81 Pro. Previously it was rumored that the company might introduce a tablet and it has just announced the OnePlus Pad.  

OnePlus is a BBK-owned company. Over the past few weeks, various leaks and renders have shed light regarding the anticipated tablet by the OnePlus. The tablet is encased in a unibody design. It is presented in a Halo green color similar to the one that is presented with OnePlus 11.

When it comes to display, the tablet has an 11.6-inch AMOLED display. It offers a resolution of 2880 x 2000. It has a refresh rate of 144Hz. It has support for Dolby Vision. Such piece of information indicates that the device will present a wonderful viewing experience. Concerning brightness, the device offers 500 nits of brightness.

Besides all this information, the most interesting fact is related to the aspect ratio of the tablet. It offers a 7:5 aspect ratio. It has been termed ReadFit Screen by the company. The company claims that such an aspect ratio and display coincide well with reading any type of document or e-book. It appears like a square ratio. So it might require some time before getting used to it.

On the other hand, the tablet is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000. Usually, MediaTek is related to mid-range and affordable devices. But the Dimensity is specified for the flagship series of processors. The Dimensity 9000 is provided with 12GB RAM. It is provided with a pair of quad speakers. Furthermore, the speakers have compatibility with Dolby Atmos.

The tablet is provided with a large 9,510mAh battery. In addition to this, the company claims a standby time of one month. It utilizes 67W SuperVOOC charging. As of now, o information regarding the price of the tablet has been shared by the company. However, users could be able to pre-order the device at some point in April.
