Oppo Just Released the Oppo A55s in Japan
Oppo released the Oppo A55s in Japan with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC and a large 6.5-inch LCD. The device is currently up for pre-orders, shipment to follow.
While Oppo is busy releasing a line of mid-range smartphones across the globe, the company was also working on the OPPO A55s. It’s yet another mid-range Oppo smartphone that features Snapdragon 480 SoC.
Oppo A55s is a 6.5-inch full HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. A big screen with a moderate refresh rate, hinting at the price of the smartphone. The device also features an IP68 rating that makes it resistant to dust and water for up to 30 minutes in 1.5m underwater.
Talking about its camera, we get a dual-camera setup with a primary 13MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera setup also features an LED flash. At its front, we get an 8MP camera. The front cameras feature various modes like Ultra Night Mode, Portrait Mode, AI Scene Enhancement, and AI beauty filters.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Users of this Oppo smartphone may expand the memory using a microSD card slot. It runs Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS 11. The handset comes with a 4000mAh battery with support for up to 18W fast charging.
Other notable features on this device include Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, an accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, gyroscope, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Oppo just released the Oppo A55s in Japan and it carries a price tag of JPY 33,800 ($296). The handset is currently available for pre-order, with shipment to start from November 26th. The smartphone is available in two colorways – Green and Black.
