Realme 8 5G Made its Debut in Thailand – Now it will Arrive in India

As said earlier, Realme 8 5G has been released in Thailand. Now it will come to India.

April 21st is here and so is the Realme 8 5G. A few days back we discovered that Realme will launch the Realme 8 5G in Thailand on April 21st and on April 22nd, it would release the same device in India. We also have already discussed the specifications of this device. Let’s review it once more.

According to several sources, we learned that this new Realme smartphone would bring a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset to power the 5G variant. It is told that the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G is the latest 5G-enabled chipset, which is a 7nm SoC that combines two Arm Cortex-A76 ‘Big’ cores in its octa-core CPU operating up to a speed of 2.2GHz and 5G-CA (2CC). This chipset would also feature a dual 5G SIM along with the 5G-exclusive voice-over new radio (VoNR) services.

As for the colors, we learned that this phone would have two options – Blue and Black. Moreover, it comes with 8GB RAM. Although, this configuration might be different in India.

According to the source, this Realme 8 5G comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, runs Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0, and supports up to 1TB microSD cards.

On the backside, there’s a triple-camera setup with a 48MP triple camera setup with an aperture of F1.8 of the primary sensor, a 2MP portrait, and a 2MP macro. It would also have a Super Nightscape mode along with several AI-based filters. On the front, there’s a 16MP camera.

The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W quick charge support.

Now that the phone has premiered in Thailand, it is soon coming to India (less than a day). The phone is said to be available on Flipkart.
