Realme Working To Hit 10,000mAh Battery Mark

In the design, software and the processor performance, manufacturers of Android smartphones can hardly stand out from the competition. Instead, the Chinese provider wants to score with the consumer with more gigantic batteries.

At MWC 2025

The company is already one of the providers who offer the highest electricity capacities in the energy storage of the devices. At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, one now presented even more ambitious plans: users should be able to expect to be able to buy a smartphone with 10,000-mAh battery. Realme presented his three -year strategy at the fair, with which it wants to double its market share. A central aspect is also the increased use of artificial intelligence, which can also be found in the competition.

Among other things, a voice-controlled image editing tool is planned, with which users can change backgrounds in photos or remove objects from videos through simple voice commands. Realme also wants to work more closely with game developers to provide exclusive titles for his devices.

Longer running time

Another important goal: The so-called “battery fear” should be a thing of the past. Realme is already installing in its latest smartphones batteries with up to 6500 mAh-that is significantly more than the 5,000 mAh batteries that are common in many top smartphones. In the coming year, the company is already planning a jump to 7,500 mAh to finally reach 10,000 mAh in 2027. How long these devices then last depends on numerous factors. The built -in chips, screens and the software used have a massive impact on real terms. However, the times when smartphones have to be put on the power connection every day should really be overcome with the upcoming battery sizes.
