Redmi 9 Series: Redmi 9 Has Great Specs & Looks Under The Budget

Lastly, we have Redmi 9 in line of the Redmi 9 Series. It’s the best and the brightest among the 9 Series smartphones. 

It has a 6.53-inch FHD+ (2400×1080) IPS LCD display, better than all the other devices in the series. It comes in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage (with optional extension using mSD up to 512GB) and dual nano-sim card tray.

The Redmi 9 has a quad-camera setup with 13MP main camera, 8MP AF sensor, and two 5MP & 2MP lens for depth. Housed in a tear-drop notch is the 5MP selfie-cam. Now that is the camera setup you can rely on, no matter what conditions you are in

The Redmi 9 is powered by MediaTek Helio G70 and a Mali-G52 GPU. This processor is much better and capable for heavy lifting and graphic-intensive work.

The show-stopper in this device and all the other devices of the series is the battery. These strictly mid-range smartphones are packing a lot of muscles with  5,000mAh powerhouses. That will make sure the device doesn’t die on you at the end of a normal work day. The power I/O for the device and all the others in the Redmi 9 Series is a type-C port so we are good for the time being. Unfortunately, there is no word about wireless charging.

For the fans of 3.5mm headphone jack, yes, it’s there, along with the infrared outlet to use the device as a remote-control. The specs sheet suggests a fingerprint scanner and a device like this, there should be a scanner under the display.

The expected price of the device is around Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 34,000. The device will launch for the Summer so it’s around the corner.
