Redmi Note 9 Series: Leaked Screen Panel Shows 120Hz And Punch-Hole Screen

Today, a well known Chinese tipster has exposed the high-end LCD panel of the Redmi Note 9 series on Weibo and revealed that the Redmi Note 9 series uses LCD punch-hole screen, the diameter of a single hole is close to mainstream flagship phones.

Not only that, the Redmi Note 9 series uses a 120Hz high refresh rate, and the touch sampling rate reaches 240Hz. This will be the first high-end model in the Redmi Note series.

In addition, another highlight of the Redmi Note 9 series is the first use of 100 megapixels, and its model is Samsung HM2. This sensor has a size of 1/1.52 inches and a unit pixel area of ​​0.7μm. It supports 9 pixels in one, which is equivalent to 2.1μm. It can effectively increase the amount of light and ensure the details of the picture, in extremely dark environments.

In terms of specifications, the high-end version of the Redmi Note 9 series may be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, and the standard version may be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor. In addition, the high-end version also supports 33W fast charging.

Combined with the previously exposed information, the high-end version may be named Redmi Note 9 Pro, and the standard version is named Redmi Note 9. Since we already have phones which these names released this year the naming scheme could be changed. It is not certain whether it will provide a 4G version like the Redmi 10X series or not. As for the price, the starting price of the Redmi Note series is expected to be around 1,000 yuan in the local market which is roughly $150.
