Samsung Galaxy A82 aka Galaxy A Quantum 2 expected to launch on April 23

We are already aware that Samsung is prepping to introduce the Galaxy A82, aka Galaxy A Quantum 2, and now we have more insights about this smartphone.

According to several leaks, the new Samsung smartphone will have an Infinity-O display accommodating the selfie camera at the center, while there a triple-camera setup lies at the back, which is expected to have a 64MP main camera. The device will come in a metal frame. The display is said to come with a 6.7″ Super AMOLED FHD+ with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the device has room for the Snapdragon 855+ SoC (expected), paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Galaxy A82 is expected to run Android 11 out of the box.

The Galaxy A Quantum 2 is also expected to draw power from a 4,500mAh battery, supporting 25W fast charging.

According to one source, the Galaxy A82 could have a retail price of 7,00,000-8,00,000 WON. Other features of the device could, include an IP67 rating, Dolby Atmos speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a MicroSD card slot support, and Samsung Pay support with MST.

The device may come in two colourways – Black and White. The pre-order may start from April 13, while the phone could properly be launched on April 23.
