Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G New Official Renders Surfaced

With the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the world’s largest electronics group Samsung will also be launching a new high-end flagship smartphone on the market in mid-January, which will then spearhead the new model series. We now have the first official marketing images.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G will be launched on the market together with the smaller or cheaper models of the new S21 series after the official presentation on January 14th. It is by far the most expensive device in the new series and should offer a 6.8-inch display, among other things. Despite the smaller screen diagonal, nothing changes in the size of the phone.

This is due to the inexpensive, completely flat screen, as Samsung says goodbye to the arching of the display that is still common in the S20 Ultra towards the rear. Instead, like its smaller sister models, the S21 Ultra has a flat panel that is surprising in other respects. The S Pen was previously reserved for the Galaxy Note series, but with the S21 Ultra, it has also found its way into the Galaxy S series.

Samsung has placed the front camera in the center of the upper edge, which is located behind a hole in the display. As with the smaller versions, Samsung lets the edge at the lower end shrink further by flipping the OLED screen. There is now a new design on the back, which is also used on the smaller versions. The metal frame around the housing in the area of ​​the camera is pulled all the way to the rear so that a design that is so far unique is created. Samsung has placed a total of four sensors in the extremely eye-catching camera module, including a zoom camera with periscope optics. There is also an extremely high-resolution 108-megapixel sensor, another zoom camera, and an ultra-wide-angle camera.

In addition, Samsung also integrates laser autofocus, which is installed in another circular cutout in the camera module. In order to accommodate the undoubtedly very large main sensor of the camera in the housing, a lot of depth is of course required, which is why the “hump” on the back naturally protrudes slightly from the housing.

In addition to the “Phantom Silver” version shown here, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will also be available in black.
