For the first time in the history of tech gadgets, the algorithm for Natural Cycle is going to be introduced on a smartwatch. Do you know which smartwatch is going to be integrated? Well, it is going to be introduced with Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5. Recently, the tech firm has declared its collaboration with Natural Cycles. It has been conveyed that both companies will work on introducing temperature-based menstrual cycle tracking to the latest Galaxy smartwatch lineup.
The algorithm combined with superior skin temperature sensor technology [Samsung] will present the users with detailed information about their menstrual cycle. Furthermore, the users will also gain access to the Cycle Tracking feature. The Cycle Tracking feature has been recently approved by The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea. In addition to this, the Cycle Tracking feature well aligns with the CE Marking requirements. It has been reckoned with the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration).
The co-CEO and co-founder of Natural Cycle states that the current collaboration will help the users to take control of their fertility. In this way, fertility tech combined with temperature-based cycle tracking via a smartwatch is going to be introduced for the first time. Since the app is already presented to smartphone users.
Given the Galaxy Smartwatch, the feature will be presented in the Samsung Health app. It is going to be exclusively featured with Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Back in February 2020, the company introduced the menstrual cycle tracking feature to the Health app. However, the latest feature was just introduced with the smartwatch last year. The Galaxy Watch 5 is available in two sizes i.e., 40mm and 44mm. o the other hand, Watch 5 Pro accompanies advanced fitness-tracking features. It is available only in 46mm size. As of now, the company has decided to introduce the feature in select markets. However, the release date is unknown.
