Citing a report from SamMobile, Samsung Display plans to increase the production capacity of OLED screens in response to higher market demand. According to local media reports, Samsung plans to upgrade the existing production line in the A4 factory in Asan City, South Korea, or build a new production line to meet the monthly output standard of 30,000 medium-sized OLED screens.

Interestingly, Samsung Display expansion of this “Project N” line is not to smartphones prepared, the opposite is the production of medium-sized laptops OLED panel ready. It is reported that the diagonal size of these OLED panels produced is 18-20 inches, which means that this production line has nothing to do with Samsung’s 14-inch 90Hz OLED screen.
