As of now, the company has shared the feature set and specifications of the processors.

Exynos 1380 consist of two additional high-performance CPU cores and 200MP camera support

Exynos 1380 chipset will be utilized in Galaxy A54 5G. It is basically a 5nm chipset. It consists of

  • four ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz
  • four ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz
  • Mali-G68 MP5 GPU clocked at 950MHz

It is accompanied by Full HD+ displays. It presents a 144Hz refresh rate. It has compatibility with LPDDR4x and LPDDR5 DRAM chips and UFS 3.1 storage. The triple ISP can deal with the 200MP camera sensors. The camera sensors are provided with 64MP resolution. It presents zero shutter lag. The new NPU has the capacity to compute up to 4.9TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second). It is slightly more than the Exynos 1280 offerings. The SIP is provided with support for 4K 30fps video recording with EIS. Additionally, it has support for HDR as well as improved camera performance.

Other connectivity features introduced with Exynos 1380 are:

  • built-in 5G modem [supports mmWave and sub-6GHz networks]
  • peak download speeds of up to 3.67Gbps
  • upload speeds of up to 1.28Gbps
  • support for BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS, Wi-Fi 6
  • support for Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB Type-C port

The Exynos 1330 is a huge upgrade from Exynos 850

Exynos 1330 by Samsung is believed to be the first entry-level chipset based on a 5nm process. It consists of two Cortex-A78 CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz. Additionally, it has six Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz and the Mali-G68 MP2 GPU. It has the capacity to provide Full HD+ resolution displays. It offers a refresh rate of 120Hz. Moreover, it has compatibility with LPDDR4x and LPDDR5 DRAM chips and UFS 2.2/UFS 3.1 storage.

The spec details of the Exynos 1330 suggest that it is a slightly modified version of the Exynos 1280. The ISP is provided with support for 108MP cameras. It has the capacity to capture 32MP images with zero shutter lag. In addition to this, it is accompanied by a dual 16MP+16MP camera setup. 4K 30fps videos in HEVC, H.264, and VP8 codecs can be recorded and played through the MFC (Multi Format Codec).

Various connectivity features of Exynos 1330 consist of:

  • a built-in 5G modem capable of sub-6GHz 5G networks
  • 2.55Gbps peak download speeds and 1.28Gbps upload speeds [5G networks]
