Earlier today, news came out that Samsung is going to release folding phones in 2021. These phones will include 2 new Galaxy Z Flip phones as well as 2 new Z Fold devices.
The Galaxy S series phones will be releasing in the first half of the year, and the foldable flagship phones will take the stage in the second half of 2021. The Galaxy Note lineup will scuffle and one of the phones that will replace it will be the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which is supposed to feature S Pen support.
As per the reports, there will be 2 successors to the Galaxy Z Fold 2, and 2 for the Galaxy Z Flip. The Z Fold 2 successor is expected to be called the Z Fold 3, and the Z Flip successor will be called Z Flip 3 to line up the names of the 2 foldable’. Moreover, all of these phones will have 5G support and bulk production is expected to begin around August.
Furthermore, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumored to get S Pen support as well, but we expect that it won’t be coming any time soon since foldable screens are at present more delicate than traditional phone screens and might be damaged by the stylus.
It is being predicted that Samsung will release a rollable display Smartphone early during the year or in late 2021.
