TCL introduces TCL 40 series smartphones and new tablets at MWC 2023

During the CES 2023 event, several companies showed off their products. TCL displayed its TCL 40 series at the event. Now the company is showing off some more members of the same series. Reportedly, the company has presented the next batch of mid-range phones from the TCL 40 series at MWC 2023. Additionally, the company has introduced various tablets.

According to some pieces of recent information, the company has featured three new handsets. These are named TCL 40 X 5G, TCL 40 XL 5G, and TCL XE 5G.

TCL 40XL 5G (May 2023 From $149)

Among the three handsets,  the TCL XL 5G is the most affordable option. It is presented with a 6.75-inch HD+ display and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is fueled by the MediaTek G37 SoC. It is presented with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.  The smartphone features a triple camera setup including a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Lastly, the smartphone is provided with a large 5000mAh battery.

TCL 40XE 5G (June 2023 From $169)

Next in the series is the TCL 40 XE 5G. This smartphone is presented with a 6.56-inch HD+ display and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Moreover, it offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is also accompanied by a triple camera setup consisting of a 13MP main camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera. it has a 5,000mAh battery.

TCL 40X 5G (June 2023 From $199)

TCL 40 X is the last smartphone from the series. It is provided with a 6.56-inch display. It is also presented with an HD+ resolution having a refresh rate of 90Hz. It’s fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Furthermore, the smartphone features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. Reportedly, this smartphone has a similar camera setup as the one provided with the TCL 40 XL 5G.

One thing to notice here is that all smartphones of the mid-range series are presented with TCL’s NXTVISION display technology for better visuals.

TCL’s new tablets

Besides the mid-range smartphone series, the company featured some new tablets at MWC 2023.

TCL Tab 11

It is a 10.95-inch device with an IPS LCD display having a resolution of 2000 x 1200. It’s just over 1080p resolution. It has the capacity to produce 16.7 million colors. It’s fueled by the MediaTek Helio P60T SoC. It is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is accompanied by an 8000mAh battery. Additionally, it is presented with a quad-speaker setup and two microphones. Moreover, it has an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It is based on Android 13 out of the box. the device is expected to launch in May 2023. It will be available at $179 ($209 for the LTE version).

TCL NXTPAPER 11

TCL NXTPAPER 11 is presented with similar specs as TCL Tab 11. One interesting feature of this device is that it utilizes TCL’s NXTPAPER 2.0 display technology. Thus, users will enjoy a great viewing experience from any angle. Besides this, it’s 150% brighter in contrast to NXTPAPER 1.0. The device will launch in Europe as well as other regions in May 2023. It will cost around $249.
