A partnership was announced between Telenor Pakistan and Netflix. Now partnering up with the leading entertainment service in the world will allow the postpaid and corporate customers of Telenor Pakistan to add the monthly subscription fee of Netflix to their monthly mobile bill. This will enable them not to share additional credit or debit card details.
The Netflix users in Pakistan, new or old will be given the option to pay the fee via their Telenor mobile bills. They can enter their Telenor mobile numbers, enter the one-time password and the process will start.
Chief Digital & Strategy Officer at Telenor Pakistan Sardar Abubakr said, “Leading Pakistan’s digital transformation, we are always on the lookout for innovative ways to integrate solutions and maximize utility for our customers.”
Adding, “Telenor Pakistan’s partnership with Netflix will help us achieve that through our industry-first Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) service. With this partnership, our customers will be able to get seamless access to Netflix’s stellar catalogue of original and licensed content.”
Back in 2016, Netflix launched its service in Pakistan allowing its members to avail unlimited, ad-free entertainment. They can have access to different TV series, documentaries, films in different languages and of different genres. Over 139 million people are paid members of Netflix all over the world. In Pakistan Netflix will boost the digital and e-commerce ecosystem
